Q. In a nutshell, what is Awaken Peptide Eye Gel?
Awaken Peptide Eye Gel is a firming and hydrating eye gel with Caffeine, a highly active Peptide blend and soothing Rosemary Leaf Extract that helps minimise the appearance of puffiness and fine lines. It helps you look more well-rested in just 10 minutes, however, it’s not just a quick fix, it works to reduce puffiness and fine lines long term too.
Q. Puffy eyes seems quite common, why do we get puffy eyes?
As a professional skin therapist, one of the most common complaints I hear is about the skin around the eyes. People are concerned about puffy eyes, looking tired and want something to remedy those eye bags! Most of us suffer with puffy, tired eyes at some point and for some of us it’s a daily battle.
The natural ageing process is big a factor. Due to the skin and muscle surrounding the eyes weakening with age, the normal amount and placement of fat, that helps support the eye area, begins to move into the lower lid, resulting in visible undereye bags. From a lifestyle and environment point of view, lack of sleep, allergies, UV exposure, salty foods and alcohol consumption and eye strain from screen fatigue all contribute to fluid retention, inflammation, and puffiness around the eyes.
Q. Awaken Peptide Eye Gel contains peptides and plant extracts. How do they help with puffiness?
Awaken Peptide Eye Gel offers more than just a quick fix for reducing puffiness and is packed full of high-tech ingredients that deliver long-lasting results as seen in our clinical studies. It features a highly active peptide blend to firm and smooth skin, reducing puffiness and contains Caffeine which is known to reduce the appearance of puffiness. It also contains Bioengineered Succinic Acid to help minimise fine lines and wrinkles along with soothing Rosemary Leaf Extract and hydrating Jojoba Ester.
Check out these amazing before and photos from the clinical studies. Awaken Peptide Eye Gel was proven to quickly reduce the appearance of puffiness and wrinkles, while continuing to diminish their appearance over time.

Q. Who is this eye gel for and how do we use it?
Awaken Peptide Eye Gel can be used by anyone of any age or skin type and is designed to reduce puffiness and fine lines. It’s best used in the morning when puffiness is typically at its worse. Dispense a small amount, the size of a grain of rice, onto your ring fingers. Then gently tap to apply under the eye and around the orbital bone. Circle your eyes to smooth out the product and let it absorb. *Take caution to keep out of eyes.

Q. Do you have any other tips when treating the eye area?
Yes, remember the skin is very thin and delicate and needs to be treated gently. Avoid pulling at the eyes when cleansing and removing makeup. I recommend an oil-based cleanser for easy makeup removal, Dermalogica Precleanse is my go-to. And use a soft cloth with warm water to gently clean over the eyes or very damp cotton pads. As well as using a specific eye formula daily to target dehydration, puffiness and fine lines, don’t forget to include a SPF to defend the delicate skin from premature ageing. Dermalogica Invisible Physical Defense SPF30 is my top pick as it’s a non-irritating, physical sunscreen designed for sensitive skin and can be taken close around the eyes.
